We will use writing as a doorway to deep presence and deep presence as a doorway to vivid writing.

Inviting and cultivating awareness of our five senses, tuning into our wild hearts and emotions, listening to nature, and having direct communion with our vast spirits, we enter states of grace where artistic expression flows naturally, vibrantly, thrillingly.

At the same time, writing itself offers a doorway to deeper noticing, feeling, imagining, expressing, being. The aliveness we yearn for.

A Day-Long Workshop and a 7-Week Course are both offered. Choose one or both!

In the day-long workshop, we’ll spend a luscious day in deep connection to Self and nature.

We will:

  • Awaken the alive, authentic Self and unfettered imagination.
  • Learn a remarkable tool for connecting to your most alive voice on the page.
  • Silence the inner critic and doubter and let yourself flow.
  • Connect to our wild minds, hearts and souls and hear what they have to say.
  • Commune with the living world to draw from a deep well of inspiration and replenishment.
  • Evoke our playful spirits and have fun!

In the 7-week course, we will go deeper into all of the above…

With Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones as text and inspiration, as well as lively, evocative writing exercises and awareness activities, you will:

  • Foster your creativity and expression.
  • Explore extraordinary states of deep Being and aliveness.
  • Tap deep wells within to write compellingly and live more fully.
  • Cultivate your own free-flowing writing practice in your life.
  • Bring your writing dreams to life.
  • Discover tools of the writer’s craft to make your writing sing!

All in a gentle, supportive, stimulating environment.
