Fear not! Revising is part of the craft and joy of creating writing that is powerful, inspiring, moving, effective.

When you revise, your writing can take a quantum leap. And each time you learn new revision tools or perspectives, your writing will take a new quantum leap.

Powerful Tools for Revision

In this weekend workshop, I will teach you some highly helpful tools to make your words shine, your lines sing, your poems or prose take flight.

We’ll practice on pieces I bring in and with enlivening exercises to open up new possibilities in your writing. You’ll learn a set of questions to ask to bring out the best in your work.

And each participant will receive respectful, specific, constructive feedback on a piece of your own writing, pointing out its strengths and giving clear suggestions you can consider to make it even stronger. Always, we will look at how to make a piece more effective on its own terms.

You’ll also receive a complimentary copy of my e-book on revision, which you can return to again and again to help you continue to revise your writing to make it the best it can be.

She has received fellowships and scholarships to the Vermont Studio Center and the Community of Writers.
